We’re looking for a 3D Artist to create cute, cozy 3D assets across our games, from clothing and accessories for our custom character rigs to props and pieces of our worlds.

About the role

This role isn’t tied to a single game. You’ll make a wide range of assets, from clothing and accessories fitted to our custom character rigs to props and pieces of our maps, and your work will help shape the visual identity across every Clariyu title.

We’re building a cute, charming, and highly polished visual style inspired by Japanese and Nintendo aesthetics. You’ll often be given written descriptions, mood boards, or light sketches that define creative intent, and your job is to turn that direction into cohesive, production-ready 3D assets that establish a consistent visual language across all Clariyu games.

This is a long-term role on our team, not a one-off commission. We’re building a consistent 3D art style over time, so if you’re after a quick gig, this might not be the right fit. But if you’re excited about creating cozy worlds for our characters to thrive in, and about being a crucial part of a startup, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll need

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing for games

  • Experience building optimized, engine-ready assets

  • A portfolio of stylized, production-ready 3D assets

  • Experience making clothing and accessories that fit character rigs

  • Strong visual judgment and consistency across large sets of assets

  • Able to turn written direction, loose sketches, and mood boards into finished 3D assets

  • Experience working within technical constraints and optimization requirements

  • Clear, professional communication

Nice to have

  • Character modeling experience (a huge plus!)

  • Experience with cute, Japanese-inspired, or toy-like visual styles

  • Experience with Roblox layered clothing or accessories

  • A background in stylized texture workflows

  • Experience helping establish or maintain a studio-wide visual language

Compensation

This is currently an equity and revenue share opportunity:

  • Significant equity/stock in the company

  • A percentage of game revenue

All long-term team members are eligible for equity/stock options, and you may also receive a percentage of our first game. If we’re successful, we plan to offer full-time salaried roles too.
